Hit a thrift thrift store today and picked up a neat old handkerchief box. Under the lining was this pendant type thing.

Not sure what to make of it. It appears to have a few letters stamped on the back but no other markings.

Thinking homemade...very ugly but kind of cool at the same time. Guess it will go into "unknown" box at the house.

I doubt home made, If it was home made it was by someone at least slightly knowledgeable about jewelry making. Is it magnetic? Maybe a piece made in school by someone learning to make jewelry?

You beat me to it. I see a lot of similar stuff pass through my friends "used costume jewelry" business. Some people like it quite a bit, but it's not usually valuable.
