Gold ,Silver & a First!

I haven't posted any finds lately mostly because I have been busy with work and I have not made any out of the ordinary finds, but this past weekend was defineatly a homerun for me! I took Friday off and hit a few sales, one was a family run estate sale. I showed up about half an hour early and was the first one there, as I was looking around some other people showed up and the buying started. It was apparent they were selling everything so when I seen the plastic water jar a third of the way full of change I jokingly said is this for sale, the guy said if I could pick it up he would sell it to me for twenty bucks! so I told him if I can one hand it how about $10.00 he said sure and I said Sold! I have not counted it yet! On Saturday there was only 10 or 11 sales, when I got to the last one they had just opened up, they must of opened late, it was listed for 8:00am and I got there at 8:15, I walked in and there on the table are the Sterling candlestick holders marked .50cents each, then I looked over and there was the Gold chain with some other pooka shell necklaces marked .50cents, I immediately paid! 21 grams - 14k. I am still stoked! Thanks for looking!

huge scores. a friend at work brought in a 5 gal. water bottle a little over half full and he rolled up over $600, so you might have $300 in yours

Wow .50 cents for 21 grams!

Ya at least $300 in that jar for 100% sure. But the thing is how many wheaties or other coins that actually might have value beyond their numerical value might be in that jar? Heck you never know what you might find hidden amongst all that change. A jug like that about 2/3rds full sold for $700 at a local auction house a few months ago.
