Picked up a real beauty today. 43 gram 14k gold 1960's charm bracelet. Paid an embarrassing 1.00 for it. Now if could just figure out how to do that 3-4 times a week I would stop working.

Nice find. This is one way to do it 3-4 times a week but I don't recommend it.

On another non-treasure hunting forum we'd have weekly gloats for yard sale finds and who got the best deals, etc. Usually one person was elected - much like our banner finds - to have the best find and the right to gloat. You sir, take the grand prize. Bravo! :hello2:

Nice! I had a good day today at the TS too. Not as great as yours, but I "bought for less, will sell for more"! That is a BEAUTIFUL bracelet. My store would have sold it for more than $1 just because its nice! Great score! That's our Garage Sale Banner Find.

For a buck, I wouldn't even bother to sell it. Gold is down from a crazy price so I would just sit on it. I would understand if you paid 500.00 and you need the cash back but for a dollar? Keep it

Spot price would net you almost 1000.00 so call it an amazing investment and wait until it will get you 2000.00

It's worth more then scrap anyways. It's a double linked charm bracelet. The single wire above the flower is for charms. It's worth a ton. Here is mine.

Kinda hard to tell. You can market it as a charm bracelet and get more for it on eBay.

I agree about not selling at scrap prices. But he doesn't sell at scrap prices anyway. He's know's the business, he'll get top dollar regardless of the current pm manipulations.

randazzo1- Nice find. Looks like an early Art Nouveau style maybe? What do you think?

Not sure Paladin. It's a manufactured piece so it should really be marked. I'm going to stamp it.

Thanks big caddy. I'm planning to ask 1850.00 for it.
