That's a great buy. I've been looking for one at sales and they are always 15+ at least w/o fuel !!:lightbulb:

Nice find. I use a red single mantle as a personal lantern while camping and have an absolute mint late 70s dual mantle that I use for around the campsite.

I don't care what technology comes up with, I love my lanterns with the smell, sound and the work involved in getting them lit. It is what makes camping, well, camping!

My goodness...the fuel alone is worth a fortune!

The last time that I priced a new can of fuel, it was $10 a gallon, and that was many years ago.

I got this last weekend for $2.00 . He asked me if I wanted any fuel , I said yes , He went into the garage and came out with 3 full cans & gave them to me for free .

It is a 1962 model 200A with an amber globe . The hat cleaned up nicely - I still have to clean the body .

You did a great job on the top.

I was wondering what do you use to clean it so well, beside a lot of "Elbow Grease"?

Thanks,
Bill
