Who likes large petrified animal teeth?

At least that's what I was told this was. And it is from a shark. I would never ever want to meet anywhere in my lifetime! Preferably not even a dead one!

Maybe it's a dinosaur tooth? I don't know it was in a bucket of rocks at a yard sale I paid him five dollars for everything because of this tooth.
Is it even possible that can really be a tooth from shark? possible it could be a fake also?
Measures 5 3/8" long x 2 1/8" wide. 1 1/8" thick...

Look up megladon Sharks. That's what I think you have there beach kid.

Yes, Megaladon tooth split down the middle, and an exceptionally large one at that. No idea how much the missing half affects the value, but it may actually be desirable to certain collectors. Would start an auction at $40 or so and see where it ends up if you decide to sell it.

Well those are huge! Sucks I only have half of one ! One seller on eBay must have found a whole bunch of sharks because they probably have sold 90% of them. I bet half tooth is not worth very much...

Too bad it was not from Puff the Magic Dragon would have been priceless!!
