Garage sale ceramic

This looks old to me. It looks Asian. Beyond that I do not know anything about.
The glazing is cracked all over it, but that looks like it was planned.

Can anybody help me out here?

I can't help identifying it, but the cracks in the glaze is called crazing.

It looks like a crackle glaze Japanese or Korean ceramic. It has a firing flaw inside the bowl. One way to determine if it's old is you can see iron spots that form due to oxidation of the iron in the clay used. Does the rim feel smooth or rough to the touch?

There are a few VERY tiny spots round the rim that seem metallic, and the clay rim is a bit rough to the touch.
There is a very thin blackened line where the glaze ends near the clay rim.

I am not an expert but from the description of the rim roughness and spotting my guess on age would be 50 to 75 years old. Twenty years ago my neighbors father who worked in The National Museum in Beijing visited her and I had him go through some of my ceramics. He taught me the things to look for in dating ceramic objects. Some of the items were older than I thought while others much younger. I have a tea bowl with a mark of a Ming Prince and dating it to one of the last Ming princes (The RebelPrinces) in the early 17th century. His evaluation was that it was a honorific piece made during the Republic period prior to the Communist revolution.

Piledriver, I have a similar piece that I picked up awhile back and know nothing about. It looks like it could be from the same maker. Mine has a name or makers mark on the underside that I have no idea what it says. Any info would be awesome!!
