Good buy or not ?

I found this pocket watch at the local thrift store. Watch chain is 1/20 14k gf

It says arnex Quartz Swiss made on the face

Only paid $5. It's in great condition and will probably head to ebay. Was it a good buy? And what do you think it will bring?

It's a quartz watch. That will affect the price of any pocket watch, negatively. For $5, you got a $20 watch, tops.

Five's a good buy, Use "steampunk" in your listing if you go to sell. It may, help draw in another category of buyers My number two daughter is into all that dress up and stuff like that. That top hat in the picture is period and sitting down stairs falling apart now. I think its a beaver skin hat.

When I "take a chance" on something I'm unsure of, I think worst case scenario too, lol. Sometimes you get lucky.
