Miniature Pottery Vase- Maker's Mark Help

I'm pretty sure it's not worth much but I'd still like to figure out who made it and when. I'm stumped, maybe a fresh set of eyes will help. Someone went through the trouble of marking it so... here's the mark-

And here is the vase-

That is what I am seeing too. Just reaching a dead end though on those marks.

Yeah, I did a search that turned up a ton of hits, none of them to do with pottery or maker's marks.

Just a thought St Louis University student project. Or a notation on the glaze mix?

Studio Art : Saint Louis University College of Arts and Sciences : SLU
I agree with this answer...Although i'm NOT 100% on this BUT having collected "art pottery" for years this makes much sense! the K i beleive would be students initial and the # the spot in kiln.IF from the U.K. it should be U.K. not U
K...Just my two cents&qouted because this answer made sense to ME.HAPPY HUNTING ALL:thumbsup:

We may never find out on this one. I don't know why, but Sweden or Finland, first comes to my mind when I see how it's written. Could be that I worked for a company from Finland and the packing lists on shipments from there just looked like the same kind of righting they do. Always fine lines and no fancy righting used. :dontknow:
