And with that I am happy. I have to go back to get the rest on Thursday but this lady had a horde of a collection. I filled up three Ziploc freezer bags along with another jewelry box full of unsearched. Also picked out a lot of gold, well a decent amount and paid for that upfront. I spent $540. I will be returning to get the rest when they get it out of their closet that's buried. So far I have spent $540. Here are some of the notables: 18 K Columbian Emerald cross pendant image-1325581112.jpg 14k charm bracelet. image-2161417620.jpg Mother of pearl 18 karat double heart Tiffany and Company pendant. image-1885396939.jpg Seiko lord matic watch image-3285685682.jpg I hope these ones are not synthetic but I'm pretty sure it's alexandrite earrings with pendant. They are blue and green. image-853868964.jpg They look purple but they're not. Camera does not really take a good picture. 6 g of 10 K. 33 g of 14k, 7 gr 18k. Tiffany heart and 100 grams of silver.

And from what this lady's daughter tells me there's enough jewelry in that closet to fill up 2 to 3 kitchen size garbage cans. (she was hoping a dollar per pound for the rest of it that is un searched) There was a bunch of gold filled, a lot of vintage stuff that is scrap and some can be resold. And a ton of broken or vintage pieces. About 30 lbs. image-3259873719.jpg

Wonderful score. what did the rest hold for you?
Now they want me to buy the whole contents if the house. They want it out ASAP. All antiques!! Plus another room I have not seen.

I have a truck and trailer I can use whenever needed. There is a lot of stuff in that house from the 1800s even though some of its furniture I think it's worth a decent amount of money.

Congrats on some awesome Jewelry score! If you have the money, go for the purchase of the entire contents of the house. I am sure you can work a deal in your favor, especially considering that you have already paid them $540 on the Jewelry! Besides, who knows what could be hiding in some of the Antique furniture. Some may have secret doors or hidden nooks full of stuff. Also, look on the bottom of each and every drawer for envelopes taped to the bottoms that contain cash or other valuable items such as Bonds.

Decided against buying everything actually. I did get the rest of the jewelry though and there's another thread I started about antique furniture because she has something I'm really interested in but I don't want to spend more than $150. so hopefully I'll be able to get it.

It sure is hard to store furniture! I like small easy to ship items. A deal like that sure wold be tempting though!

The kilt pin was a shock. And the dog earrings are kind of unique. There's more silver and some other scrap gold but that's the better of the stuff. The dragonfly is broken there is a silver ring but it has British hallmarks on it so I have no idea what that is yet.

The lady I got this from would keep just about everything she came across. She had a bag of sunglasses that somebody gave her a while back and I bought them today because of one pair that was in them. I saw him through the bag and thought they look weird check the name on them and I was pretty happy! Nothing like some Porsche Carrera sunglasses! image-3556157266.jpg image-3695757091.jpg

Very nice, I hope the rest is just as good if not better, except for the watch. Today's the 22nd, maybe it just needs a new battery?
