I was at the consignment shop dropping off. I should know better than looking in the fine jewelry case. Usually I laugh at how over priced it is. (I have started given them gold for that reason. I make more off them than off Ebay, even with the 50% cut.) Anyhoo. there is a pretty pair of diamond earrings for $1,300. Right next to them are another pair of diamond earrings marked $288. They were very heavy, and because they have been there for 2 months, I got a 20% discount, bringing the cost down to $220.
They weigh 12 grams. There are 33 diamonds in each. They is between 1/2 - 1/3 carat total.

This was a good buy, right? I don't care if they sit on Ebay for a while. I can ear them until they sell! LOL. The joy of jewelry shopping!!!

Well, as long as they are 14k then you paid about melt price minus the diamonds, so that's not bad. How much you gonna list them for $399?

I was thinking $499, maybe even $550. Too high?
