I bought a pair of vintage Levis last Saturday . Paid $2.00 . I Kick myself now . There were 2 more I didn't buy all $2.00 a pair . I just saw that they were with the original tags , so I thought I would buy one - then when I got home I read the fine print on the tag - 1981 - oh well at least I got one
I put It on Ebay , so far 2 guys from Thailand are bidding on them .

It's hard to think of 1981 as being "vintage". But yes, and bet you'll do well off those! Danged, even bell bottoms....

You should come poke through my closet. I know I have some slacks and ties that old (and the pants still fit!) I have a suit five years older than that I still wear.

I always Buy every Levi I see , for under $3.00
if they fit me.
I buy to wear them out though. not to sell.

unfortunately since I stopped smoking I have doubled in size :(
No matter what I try I've gone from about 130 to about 260
& from a size 28 to a 38 waist :( & think I'm still gaining.
& that's on a one meal a day life.

I still grab Jeans off My rack & Can't get them above my Knees :(

Too bad shape to sell, But I put them back on the rack

Almost makes you wanna start smoking again, almost. I'm with ya though on the weight gain. I did lose 110 of it several years ago but I've managed to put 70 of it back on these last couple years. I blame the wife, she started buying junk food again and twisted my arm to eat it, lol.
I buy Levi's jeans on the cheap anytime I see them too, if they fit or if they are in good shape and have a little age to them. Of course I wouldn't pass up an old grungy pair of redline Big E's either if I ran across them.

You need to eat several times a day. If you only eat once a day your body thinks it's "starving" and keeps most all of the calories you eat in that one meal. Don't start smoking again.... Best of luck.

I still haven't sold the vintage Levis jacket but I have watchers and I listed it with "best offer" this time. We will be patient. I actually really like the jacket but I don't "need" it! Lol. I will be looking for the vintage Big E blue jeans now.

Any interest in some 1978 Fruit-of-the-Looms?

(somewhat worn with the ORIGINAL patina)

I lost about 40 pounds in 2011 2012 and I've kept it off (so far). Basically, I don't eat anything white, only brown and green. No flour, potatoes, sugar, pasta, bread, so on. Lots of fruits and Vegetables... in fact, no limit on fruits, beans, and vegetables. Some red and white meats, and that's it.
