Went to my favorite auction group, same one I got the sterling set from a month or so ago. Bought a small display box with jewelry, ended up with 6 (2 14k and 4 10k) gold rings and a 1/4 Eagle with 14k gold chain. I need to get the rings looked at. I think a few of them might be 1800s. Sadly no complete sterling sets today. Did get a coin silver cup made by Jaccard Silver Co in St Louis (1830s-1840s) and a sterling cigarette case in same flat. Need to find someone who can fix the dents in the cup and make it look better. They sell for $600-700. There was 5-6 pieces of coin silverware by Jaccard that I couldn't get. 2 other misc sterling pieces that came with 2 flat of nicer Rogers and Oneida stainless with a cool set of Hopalong Cassidy stainless. Spent maybe $125 for everything and total scrap on the gold is about $700 and silver is $125, but they're much nicer than scrap. Also got lots of nice ABP cut glass and a few nicer EAPG pieces, but the best part was the gold and silver. Thought I'd share my newest finds. Sometimes you just have to go to the auction even when there's nothing good in pictures and description.
