I got this one today . They were asking $25 - I offered $15 - SOLD . He said " I think it's from the 50's " I said , no , it's a 1966 - " How do you Know that ? " I said , I just read the date on the bottom .
Anyway , It is an Extra heavy duty Coleman . Army green , Spare parts are stored in a special holder in the tank , It doesn't have the typical globe - it has a quadrant globe . 4 curved glass pieces that slide into the quadrants , and they are extra thick , for " rough " use .
I don't know if I will sell this one - I like it too much !
And yes I checked the Coleman Forums , these were made to military specs . Very cool !

Nice. Looks unused by the parts bag in the fount. I'd have to keep that one myself just because of the military connection.

My husband is always on the lookout for lanterns. Have not come across one like that. Very nice find!
