I found a smaller painting by this same artist, I'm trying to find out the complete name. It's signed simply "Dickson".

Hi GibH, I've looked but no luck on the name! I do come across these a lot. I've stayed away from them now that I have a little more experience and eye for fine art. It is very nice if you plan to keep it. All the best.

The one in that listing is large. The one I was looking at is more like 12x16. They only want $5 for it, the frame is worth at least that. The painting on ebay has 4 watchers, so their might be a little interest.
