I bought a Fort Hays pottery creamer at a garage sale a few weeks ago for 50 cents and inside the creamer was a bunch of smalls. There was a chauffeur's license, some pinbacks and this little tag.

On the tag it says:

Gayle R. Blakeley
5019 Pasadena
Motor Cars
GA. 8788

What is this tag? Was is a keychain? Was this from a car dealership? What does the "GA. 8788" stand for? I've tried googling it and can't find anything so I'm hoping you guys might have seen something like it before.
Thanks for any help!

The GA 8788 was probably his license plate number. I think that this was probably on his key chain and if his keys were lost, hopefully somebody would return them to the dealership who would get them back to him.

I kinda thought it might be an identification tag for a keychain, but figured I'd better ask just to make sure.
I appreciate the help Indian Steve--thank you~

Pasadena and Redlands are only 60 miles apart.(in California) one hour on the freeway today, back in the 50's that could be a 3 hour drive.
