The styling looks more mid 70's to me. Personally, I would pass at $40.

Yes it wood but I'm not sure what type it was like medium in color and the other light came out the backside like the two in the front out of the curved piece so there's three of those curved pieces and each one has a white to it

I would say Danish Modern 1960's to 1970's. I'd pay $40 for that to put in my bedroom. I think it is one of the coolest lamps I've ever seen. I would guess in a retail shop in a fashionable area of Los Angeles, we are talking about $150 to $200 easy.

mojjax is right. That is a mid century Danish teak wood lamp. $40 is a decent price if you want to deal with shipping it and it may take a while to sell it too. A "similar" one recently sold for $170.

edit- dejapooh's right too, didn't see his reply

I'd pay $40 if I were buying it to keep.

You never now about those kind of things. Usually when something like this catches my eye I feel I won't be the only one in the eBay audience of shoppers that see what I see in it. I can see why your drawn to it. I like it, so I checked out mid century danish modern lamps sold and I wouldn't be surprised to maybe see this lamp make a decent profit. I like modernism, but my wife doesn't so I couldn't buy that for keeps. Offer $25. on it and see what they say.
