Best 1800s Silver Score to Date, Amazing! Help?

Hey guys possibly the best silver score ever. These trays had sat in this store for weeks until I decided to flip em over. They had silver plated cups on top of them lol. At first I saw the mark but didn't think anything of it. Until I looked it up on google. I went back and grabbed the first one... And got it and took one last look at the second one for any kind of mark and I found it. I honestly didn't think this was possible and I was shaking at this point. Bought both for $30 total. The first tray is marked 830S which is a old silver hallmark for 83% silver, weighs around 1070 grams. The second tray is very very old marked plata 900 with the name of the maker but its so worn down I have no idea. It weighs in at around 1700 grams... total of 2770 grams of silver for $30.... WOW!!! Help identifying the makers of these trays!!! Value on each? I assume its more than scrap... the spanish silver has what looks to be hammer marks from when it was made? 1800s I'd guess. Truly amazing score. Btw they both had this weird tape on the back so I assume they were dropped off by the same person. The store i had them tested at didnt believe me at first, but they checked out great.

Great scores. The one marked Plata is probably Mexico silver from the Taxco era which would be more mid-1900's. If you can identify the hallmark it would be helpful. There are certain makers from that era whose pieces sell at a premium. I'd also bet the 830 tray is from the same time period.

That's a score if I've ever seen one!! Amazing!! The one with the crescent moon is German: M. H. Wilkens & Sohne. From 1810 to present. Here's a link for you. If you can date it to pre WWll then you have done very well!! Pre war German silver is very collectible in any purity. I found a serving bowl a couple years ago and flipped it for a few hundred $$. Great job!!!

Still trying to find out about the big Spanish tray. The makers name is right there on it but I cannot decipher it ugh!

Should I clean/polish these up and buff with a silver cloth? Does that hurt the value?

Polish those babies up!! It will not hurt the value. Silver is one of the few metals that as antiques, is fine to polish. I use Hagerty or Wrights (which you can find at Walmart or anywhere else.
