Running some errands and came across a little sale. Very little left. Saw a handful of costume jewelry. Of course I didn't have my glasses or my loupe...but I saw some writing on this tie clip, and for a quarter, hey why not?
Got it home and saw "Hickok made in USA".
Did some research, and found that company went out of business in 1970. They made very little jewelry out of real gold or silver, and this is not gold, but gold tone I guess.
Still, it's a vintage piece worth about $25-$30.
Personally, I think it's so plain it's ugly, but the chain part is square links, so that's kind of cool.
Thanks for looking. This is as good as my camera will take.

I have bought a few of these over the years. Unfortunately I haven't had good luck selling them... Better luck to you if you are planning on selling it.

Around here, you can find items like that for a few dollars commonly. If you like it, then great score!
