I bought this with a few other items this week. I paid $25 which more than I would have liked, but some other items I purchased were really under priced.

- piece is made by Charles Boyton & Son Ltd
Charles Boyton & Son Ltd

- the knob on the top is ivory

- based on the date mark of "B" it looks like this is from: 1937

I don't plan on selling it. I don't sell anything that is ivory, but curious what your thought are on value. I've seen a lot of toothpick folders online, but not many with a lid and none with ivory.

thanks,
silverdollarbill

I think it's a cool piece well worth the $25 you paid. Not sure if the ivory pull adds a ton of value. What does it weigh?

It's 58 grams and I measured it today and the bottom half holds exactly one shot or 1.5 fluid ounces. Could probably sell as a bar accessory.
