I bought 4 Gillette razors in cases for $3 each and 4 single Gillettes for $1 with no cases. This one was $1. I had no clue it was a rare prototype that collectors are desiring! After I listed it in auction style starting at $19.99 with in 15 minutes I had several offers and people telling be its called a "bottom dial". I got a bid right away as well so I couldn't change the title. My highest offer was $2200.00!!!! What?!? I declined that offer as well as several lower offers. I am pretty pumped about this one and I'd be perfectly happy if it sold at the bid it's at today. Check it out if you'd like.....just had to share with my fellow T'net garage salers!!

What! That's insane. I put you on my watchlist. Thinking about bidding on it.... Just kidding I'd be sick if I won it and you have to relist it! But good luck to you. I think the most I ever got for one was like 50 bucks. Obviously it wasn't the Lamborghini of razors though. I think you have the third highest one on all of eBay right now! You better add this to the dollar thread to when you're done! [emoji3] congrats!

I was thinking the Adjustable ones I could sell for $30-100 depending on when they were made/condition. I honestly had no idea on this one. I should've had a clue when I couldn't find another one like it...

I'm gonna have to go run to my grandma's because my great grandpa has two of those and the only reason I know this is I used to play with the dial at the bottom when I was little. Looks just like that one you have on ebay

We're still banging our heads against the wall over this one! Holy Toledo!! ...My wife keeps saying she has one somewhere (probably hopelessly buried), but I keep thinking there MUST be something more to this, right?? I mean, were there NO other models that had a dial on the lower part of the handle?

Nope, no catch. I've got a huge collection of adjustable razors and every single one I've found it a top adjustable version. The bottom adjustable versions are extremely rare and super desirable. The only other ones that fetch a similar price is the "toggle bottom" or a complete men's deluxe shaving kit, in gold, in the leather case.

2minnesota has found a holy grail razor and will see a spectacular ending when the auction closes

This is incredible 2Minnesota! Well done man. I don't really do buying and selling, but I enjoy going to auctions and flea markets. I stop by this section of tnet from time to time and see what sort of awesome stuff is turning up out there... It's stories like this razor that I really enjoy. I'll be keeping an eye on that auction to see how it ends... but it looks like you already totally killed it with that $1 purchase!
