Why do I keep buying art with signatures that are so hard to read? :-)

I live in Orlando, Florida, and today was the first day of Extravaganza, which is a three day event held twice year. The event is a pickers dream as there are antiques and collectibles of all kinds. I picked up this oil on canvas painting about 31x24. It's Landscape. It is vintage possibly from the 1930s to 1950s, based on the brownish canvas back, and nails instead of staples. Does anybody have any idea of the artist signature?Thank you in advance. :)

Looks like a seriously legit piece to me. Is the frame plaster? I know nothing about art, but it looks like one of those pieces on antiques roadshow where they start with "I was so happy to see a ______ school painting come in...."
