Seiko 6139 first chrono on the moon, scored at Swap meet yesterday.

I scored this at a flea market yesterday. Did some research and found some very interesting facts about it. I put it on e**y, and I already have seven bids with three days to go. Beautiful piece as is, but it will be much nicer once a collector restores it. Great little score to end and start the New Year. Thank you for your feedback and comments. I appreciate them.

I have one like it with a dark blue dial. Some call that model the "Pepsi Bezel Chrono" Good find. I see one on eBay with the yellow dial now with 39 bids and up to over $700 so far.

I inform people that is known as honest wear. Last I looked you find NOS spare parts such a crysals and bezels come up somewhat frequently on eBay.
