One of my local neighborhoods had a community sale today so I made the rounds. They were some really good sales but I've decided to start leaving the bits of Sterling Jewelry and focus on things that have a better return. One of the first things I saw was this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Desk Pen Holder. These were actually sold as an accessory to your pen. You could unscrew your pen And then screw it on to this desk holder. I wasn't sure it was real until I did the light test and sure enough it shines red translucent which is a dead giveaway that it's real. These were several hundred dollars but now I have to find a dang pen. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1494709321.404206.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1494709333.883422.jpg
I also picked up a couple watches. The first was in ladies Elgin wristwatch in its original box. It was missing the crystal, not running in the clasp was broken off. I forgot to take a picture before but here it is after I restored it into a pendant watch. It's running but slightly fast so I'll need to regulate it. I also got this project Elgin watch. Nothing special but one that I can practice my watch repair. Based on an initial valuation it seems like it has a broken main spring which I should be able to replace. The ladies Elgin was $6 and the men's was $15. More than I wanted to spend but i needed practice watches. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1494709540.824145.jpg
I also scored a bunch of sterling jewelry including this one really heavy heart chain and the cuff bracelet on the upper left is a James Avery. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1494709564.856196.jpg
I also picked up this four times used smoker for $20. I might try a little smoking myself. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1494709658.313519.jpg Rounding out the fines is this really nice child's gold filled bracelet and a sterling rimmed glass coaster from an estate sale half off day. And of course probably my most favorite find for two dollars what is this watch case Lord knows I need it. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1494709776.060580.jpg

I like the 149 pen stand. They're asking from $150-500 for similar ones on the bay, as far as I can see. Good luck finding the pen to go with it!
