I have heard not to buy reloaded ammo if you're going to resale. True or not?

Lots of reasons to avoid reloads others loaded.
Lots of reasons to learn reloading.

Reloading is a science with proven methods and recipes for varied specific arms. Rolling your own can up performance ,and if you shoot a lot , amortise an economy of scope over the years.

Because factory ammo might be used in older arms or poor quality ones it is usually conservative in pressures.

Without knowing in minute detail who reloaded what and if their equipment and process was accurate for what it is being used in....is a safety risk.

Gun manufacturers( at least most if not all) warranties are voided with reload use , as they have no control over sizing, pressures ect..

Rule No. 1 in reloading....never shoot someone else's reloads! Also, it is very easy to put a double charge in pistol ammo.
