Had to buy it though. Indoor flea market today and found this. Everything was 40% off in that booth so I paid $12 and tax. 36 inch long and I am confident it is the real deal and really old. Nails look old and saw marks in the wood. Upholstery tacks with bits of the old cloth liner inside.

Your thoughts? HH ALL!

Kind of creepy, but a definite conversation starter. What are your plans for it?

Wow, $12? I'm sure the market is limited, but I don't see why it wouldn't bring hundreds.

That's an interesting find. Now I'm trying to think what's the weirdest thing I've seen out there to compare? Nothing so far in my mind:dontknow:

Thanks for the responses. Not sure what my plans for it are. Show it around and get ideas. Maybe a side table? All I could think when I found it was how they did not know what they had and how much more I could sell it for. Found one on Ebay that sold in G Britain that was exact same construction but for a viewing window.

Wow! I would have bought that in a second. What are the dimensions? Looks small.

I bought a human skull at a garage sale a couple years back. It's the only thing my boss wont let me bring in the house.

There was a TV show a few years back. Their website is: Obscura

They bought and sold oddities and morbids. Their show was on science channel if I remember correctly.

I have dealt with Mike Zohn in the past, a down to earth guy. In your case under earth guy.
