They are japanese, can you try to get a little closer pic, or more straight on of the first character ? its hard to make out in the pic

Looks like a very early version of the ubiquitous "Made in China" mark.




J/K. Those are great looking bracelets and i'm guessing a bit old/valuable. Good luck on the ID

That looks just like the one on the right. I was hoping they were sterling, but it appears they are not. Thank you all for the help.

i would test them to be sure, the characters i could make out at first looked japanese, but after finding the last one i am sure it is chinese. In japanese the same characters would mean to construct a bank.
