I'm almost done deciphering it. It is a "W", followed by scribbles. :) It is dated 1950. Picked it up today at a garage sale. Thank you, as always, thank you for your time and help. 20180512_142506.jpg 20180512_142456.jpg 20180512_172959.jpg 20180512_114426.jpg

While it is derivative of some earlier works of famous impressionist, cubist painters, it has appeal. Is the canvas in good condition? If you don't intend to keep it, Interior decorators look for these kinds of pieces. They call them "area paintings" but this is better than that. Good find.................h

Very appealing. I hardly ever see second hand art that affects me in that way.

Anything on the back; like a gallery, retailer or distributor's name, address, etc.?
Don........

Thanks to all once again. The artwork is actually a watercolor. It came in its original frame. The lady that I bought it from told me that some dealers had taken it out of the frame to look for a signature or more details on the back. Unfortunately, there aren't any more details.
