I can tell you the scale would be 1/24 with a 9" car. They are cool looking. I bought an Eldon 1/32 set a couple weeks ago.

Also, the pottery looks like molded resin in the close up, unless it's actually porcelain? Maybe I'm seeing wrong? I can't make out the name either. F.W. Mard..Bu (or ie)...?

This is the first time I come across slot cars I happen to see the track in the house and I knew there would be some around so I started digging a couple other people grab a couple of them and I think there was a box full of them that I missed but I managed to get about 8 to 10 of them would like to find more more often are used to have a track of the smaller ones in my younger days I also wind up getting a bunch of model cars and airplanes the plans are still in their original factory shrink wrap

Cool cars. They have to be worth some good money.

Trying to do some research on them now it’s just hard to find out who the maker is so I’ll probably be sitting on for a while

I looked for a while and couldn't find anything comparable. I searched 100 different chassis and none matched. Closest were some of the ones from Monogram in the 60's, but they didn't match. Your bodies appear to be late 50's and early 60's. Looks like a '59 Edsel Corsair in the middle, baby blue.

On the undercarriage of one of the bodies it has a mark of AMT I’m wondering if the Frame is custom-made and the body comes from an AMT model car because some of these model cars look like they have screw holes to mount on the slot cars frames

Buried deep in a box in the garage I have some 1960s American modeller magazines. Lots of articles and ads when these were at the peak of their heyday. Exactly as stated earlier, custom built chassis and commercial body. The chassis were often built in small numbers (cottage industry style) inside of clubs. If I'd found them I may struggle to part with them!
I will look on the weekend for the mags.
