Got a yard sale call back from a watch inquiry. I met the lady and she had a small box of quartz watches and one Hamilton. I told her that the Hamilton was a good one with a 14kt gold case, excellent condition but not running. She said she would sell it for the gold value and I estimated it at 5g and offered $120. She accepted. She was happy to have it go to a good home. Turns out the movement is a 982 M which is a higher finished Gold medallion movement. Can’t wait to get this serviced. Second gold watch this week. Not cheap but definitely a good buy. Hopefully no major repairs will necessary. Great price for that beauty. I got a 1930s white gold Hamilton I wanna get back up in good running condition. I need to find a nice set of aged radium hands for it and a missing second hand. I keep checking eBay for a good parts movement or watch with all I need for the project.

Definitely more than 5 grams I would think. A similar Bulova I purchased a month ago had 9.5 grams

It was actually 6.3 g but the Crystal was still in it which is a heavier glass one. 5g is about right

Ah right on, time to identify the model! What's the serial number? The dial looks pristine as well, very nice.
