Congratulations. I would agree that you did very, very well! Box, papers, the works! Great looking watch and for $50, plus other items? Definitely a score. :-)

Great buy! I love these old tags. I usually pay up to $100 each for them when I have the opportunity to get them. I think you'll be able to sell this one for $350ish if you wait for the right buyer.

The only thing that concerns me is the case looks a little low end for a Tag. The ones I see online have boxes not plastic cases. Have you checked the movement?

I have a woman's version of this very watch someplace. I gave it to my wife but it is a 100% NOT genuine. It looks good, but it has a Chinese Auto movement if I recall, maybe it's a quartz?. It was at a thrift store for like 12 bucks.

I never even considered this could be a fake but just going off the neighborhood i was shopping in, the thought never crossed my mind. A quick bit of research has convinced me that this IS in fact an original TAG but ill have to check the movement myself when i get home. I guess it should be an ETA movement inside so anything else should be treated as suspect. All other points check out from the clearly printed face, luminosity of the dial, weight, bracelet quality, packaging, etc...

Ill post my findings this evening when i get home.

Here it is with the back off.

It’s marked Tag Heuer but I’m not sure what the movements are actually supposed to took like.

Can anybody verify if this is a fake or authentic movement?

Looks good to me but the Crystal looks like a non-Sapphire replacement if those are scratches on it. Hard to tell from the pic.

Yep, that's a nice swiss movement. Is it a ladies watch?
