Safe and a Surprise Gold

I picked up a great mid century fire safe for $10 at an estate sale on Saturday. A great buy on its own.
I went to clean it out and found this in the bottom along with a paper clip and dust. 14KT gold ring.

Someone didn’t do their job at the estate company! Lucky me!
