Silver Hallmark Help

My wife found the set at a garage sale for $1.00. It's marked .833 silver and believe the bird head matches this one from Portugal.

I can't find anything that matches the "A" mark. Any help with the hallmarks or a time period would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely looks close to the Portuguese hallmark. As for the makers Mark that’s going to be tough

It’s definitely Portuguese after 1938. Can’t seem to find anything on makers mark though. Great find!!

Thanks for the responses. I'm guessing finding the makers mark would just be pure luck.
