Stopped at an estate sale in Illinois (Zion I think) over the weekend and prices were great...but I was just passing through and didn’t have a lot of cash. I bought some antique pewter, couple fine glass pieces, several Polo ties (with actual horse and polo themes) and some art of course. This piece was about a dollar since I purchased over 20 items and they charged me just $20 (I gave them an extra $20 because they were so nice and we had a great time). Can anyone identify this artist? It’s an original painting but looks like a really thick watercolor or very light brush? I can't read it, but I like it. Who ever it was sure knew how to paint the late 40s and early 50s automobiles.

Viewable image is about 10” x 7.5” in a frame of 18” x 15.5”. Not one of her larger pieces, but decent enough.
