Got this half gold/porcelain leaf pin today at an estate sale. Last day of the sale, got some good deals on other things. This pin was given to me by the estate sale owner. (It was just about over.) Originally marked $3.
Not sure if it is actually gold or not, or if the mark on the back is actually a mark or not.
It looks like an eagle in one light, and kinda like a horse in a different light.
What do you guys think?

Not gold IMO.

Not to "knock" your pin but IMO this is a typical costume jewelry "gold tone and enamel" type pin.

No makers mark. Value = whatever someone will pay around 5 dollars.

PS... If it were mine... I would sell it for $1 - 3.

No offense taken. It was given to me. So 3 bucks is found money to me. Thanks for your input!
