I bought this at an Estate sale, but cannot make out the faded signature. The piece is a marker type, or watercolor type artwork. It's original, not a print or poster. Signed lower right about 24" x12". Apears to be a European peasant scene. The signature is very faded, any help would definitely be appreciated. Thank you.

It looks like maybe they’re carrying a body they’re going to bury

From the footwear (sandals), the serape(?), and the head gear on the figures carrying the body, along with the shovels and picks they are carrying in the background, this looks to be a depiction of Central American miners? Maybe even UK, Irish? The signature appears to me to be " McGroarty". Kinda resembles the work of Josef Herman, but that doesn't fit the signature. :dontknow:
