The seller had no clue that the bat belonged to Jackie Robinson. She said her children played with the baseball bat all the time in their backyard while growing up.

I'm not buying that he goes to up to 5,000 yard sales per year (100 per weekend), and didn't just buy the bat.
Why did such an expert rub the pencil directly onto the bat instead of doing a paper rubbing?
Why would Jackie Robinson sign a bat so firmly that his autograph indented the wood that deep?

This story has almost as many holes as Oak Island.

Yeah it doesn’t make sense about the number of sales but baseball bats are stamped with players names.
