Hi friends, I found this Gold at a garage sale. I was the first one there, so I bought all of the jewelry, then rushed to work. The ring with the blue stones I had placed it on the plated pile, as I had not found any markings. This morning I took it to a jeweler, and he confirmed as Gold, along with three additional earrings. Does anybody have any idea what those stones are called? Thank you as always. I appreciate it.

Good little haul. I believe the ring is set with Persian turquoise to be specific.

Another material the stones could be is dyed howlite. It is used in place of turquoise. A jeweler could tell you for sure. It's almost impossible to tell from a photo.
