Got to an estate sale this morning and they had a ton of odds and ends jewelry. Lot of nice little pieces including super cool 18k fountain pen.

Picked up these bits of watch chain because they are gold. I don’t understand the purpose of the ring on the end of the short chain. It’s not a wedding band (has flat, sharp edges).

I also don’t know what the little coat hanger shaped thing is or the twisted bar thing. All marked and tested as 14k except the little coat hanger which is a 10k clasp and 14k hanger.

I've seen similar coat hanger things that held a ribbon with a suspended medal of some sort (mostly Masonic). I've also seen rings with flat sharp edges that I have to assume were wedding bands due to engraved inscriptions.

Thank you - I looked at the ribbon holders and I think that’s spot on. A ring makes the most sense for the other thing

The ring could be designed to anchor to a button or clasp inside the vest pocket to protect from its loss. Nice little score!
