Stopped at a yard sale last weekend and spotted a box full of Proof sets. I was at first not really paying attention to the details of all of them. I really just wanted the 1995 set for my daughter as she was born that year. The guy really wanted to sell all of them as a whole and only wanted $60 for them. He said that it was face value. I then spotted the print on one of them that said Silver Proof Set. At that point in time I couldn’t pull my money out fast enough! Four 1999 silver sets and one 2001 silver set. Also many others. Another fine silver score!! 🏴☠️ ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1597084292.312388.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1597084374.948903.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1597084391.483098.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1597084407.967765.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1597084422.100711.jpg

You did good. At one time, the 1999 silver sets sold over $300.00 each.

Thanks!! They have a red book value of $90.00 currently. The 2001 I believe is at $45.00. I’m probably going to keep two of the 1999’s and a couple of others and maybe flip the remaining sets. Not in any hurry. I know a dealer won’t give me close to book value so I’ll need to try to find a collector maybe. I do collect some coins but not really any of the modern ones.
