No there are no markings on the base other than an embossed number 50, a few dots in a line and an indented square type of mark.

I’m not sure this is harassment but people list stuff like this and then ship it vis us mail. It is dangerous. Personally I don’t wanna be on a passenger plane full of mail if they have flammable liquids buried in packages not properly packaged. That being said I think if it was drained and cleaned out it probably could be sold as an empty container for collectible purposes.

That's not what I was referring to. Of course you don't ship flammable liquids (except w/ restrict. by ground). I was replying to, when she said hers was removed for a VIRO (VeRO) violation. VeRO has to do with intellectual property rights and brand names. Here read all about it...
