I picked up this little beauty in early December at a local Arc store for $5.00. I also purchased several other gold and sterling items for about $50.00 total. Any of you watch experts could give me your thoughts on this, that would be great. I’ve picked up all sorts of treasures over the years but this is my first gold watch. And it still works! I don't know much at all about watches but it looks to date probably 1950-ish to me. When you google something like 'vintage Geneve 18k ladies watch' you start seeing prices in the 1,400 to 2,500 dollar range. I'd say you scored BIG

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been seeing too. It’s always good to hear other’s thoughts and opinions. I know a fair amount about early pewter silver and furniture, but watches aren’t my strong area.

Geneve was a mid tier luxury Swiss brand That produced gold watches mostly for independent jewelry stores. This one looks to date from the early 50s in my opinion. These watches generally have value based on it’s gold weight. A super great score for five dollars.

Thanks JimDon. I saw some that were going for quite a bit but wondered if they were a bit overpriced. The band is just gold filled so the money is just in the watch case.
