I picked these gold filled charms up for a song and assumed it was gold foil inside. They?re actually tiny placer gold pieces. The charms come apart with a screw and the gold empties out. 1.29 grams total of 24k! It seems there isn?t much of premium for these little ones over scrap unfortunately, but as charms they seem to sell pretty well. I never saw these before. Something to keep an eye out for.

I just got one of those a couple of months ago for almost nothing, and it was in my "is it gold?" pile. After your post I pulled it out. It looks like my holds about 1/3 gram of gold pieces. Good to know. Thanks for sharing. IMG_0022_edited-1.JPG
