What do you prefer to use while metal detecting?

a) Regular plugged in headsets?
b) Regular wireless headsets?
c) Headsets with only one ear cuff
d) No headsets - using speaker on machine head
e) Wireless ear buds (if they were made available)
f) Real lite headset barely covering the ear

Any other thoughts, suggestions, experiences?

John,
I'm in the "A" group. I use good quality regular headphones. I haven't tried the wireless yet but they are on my shopping list. My brother won't use anything except ear buds or rattlers as he occasionally comes upon a snake.

After using plug in head phones for year. And this year switched to wireless Iam sold on them. Using my AT Max and Garrett pinpoint with wireless connection. It is by far the easiest way to hunt, not having to worry about where you set you detector down so as not to pull the head phones off while pinpointing and digging...
