Doesn't seem much advantage over the regular one which you can hear even with headphones on or off

I bought one back in the spring. It seldom paired, and when it did, it would drop in and out. So I returned it and got another. its a little better, but you have to get in the habit of holding it within a few inches of the receiver when you turn it on or it probably won’t pair. I probably should have returned this one too, but I got used to it. I’m really unlucky when it comes to Garrett products. Everything I buy seems defective.
