Not earbuds. Almost every pair of earbuds falls out of my ear or hurts me. Eventually after falling out enough times the cord gets caught while I am moving and they break.

NEVER "E" (See above). Wireless would be worse, because I might lose them in a river, tall grass, or when it is starting to get dark.

I do like the wireless idea with a plug in option as a backup.

I have just hooked up my z link with some CHEEP ear buds and it works very well //
The lite 30 in. cord allows me to put the receiver in my breast pocket and gives very little drag to the ears.
The buds have more volume than I need // So far so good--
You can purchase all sizes of the cups to fit your ear // Perry

First......where can I buy a set of THOSE bad boys in the picture??? LOL !!!!
That's hilarious!!!!!! WoW ....talk about AT&t. Heeeheee!!
Ok ...ok now my sides aren't. Still splitting !!!

I like to use the good old 70's style stereo head phones switched to mono.
Preferably with a straight cord as the coiled cords are a pain.
They block out the outside noise, keep your ears out of the wind, warm in the winter.
Yes , they are hot in the summer but I've just gotten used to them since the 1980's i guess.

My first detector (in 1974) was a tiny tex BFO by d_tex and back then we used a single ear headphone set with that little irritating. Metal band holding it to your head......but my brother and i didn't care, we were finding coins!!!! Nails, bottle caps..iron of ALL kinds...and even a diamond ring!...... Btw....that's how I got hooked!

I really like the headphones that came with the AT Pro. However, because my ears have issues keeping earbuds in I only resort to them when it's super hot outside otherwise the sweat from my head drenches the headphones and then they become quit uncomfortable to wear. I've considered the one ear style headphones but ultimately I prefer the "surround sound" audio. It also helps to weed out nearby noise from cars, kids, etc...

If hunting with a Garrett AT Pro I like the waterproof Gray Ghost Amphibians so I can get in a local creek and not have to worry about falling down which I always eventually do. Usually more than once. lol
