Snow, Freezing Temperatures, Rings, Lots Of Clad, Flour Gold And Jerky!

Been a crazy week up here in my neck of the woods. Freezing temperatures, 2 x snow storms but still managed to get out 3 x to search for rings and coins. I did manage a couple of rings, and a good return on clad coins with the AT Pro.

I spent about 6 hours down by the North Saskatchewan River shoveling gravel into my highbanker, and got a fair amount of gold. I was experimenting on two different types of mats in my sluice to see how well they hold flour gold and the amount of black sands I am left with. Here's a video -

There were slim pickings for petrified wood. Mostly ironstone where I dug.

Of course, all this weird weather and hard work can make a guy hungry, so I marinated some meat last night, and put it in the smoker this afternoon. Should be ready tonite!:hello2:
