Does anyone know if the pro-pointer would be any good for nuggets or placer gold or silver?

My Pro Pointer seems to be able to handle quite high levels of iron mineralisation and will respond to a 1gm nug resting on a 2lb slab of iron stone. It is very responsive to gold and silver. You can get an indication of whether the ground mineralization is too high for the Pro Pointer by resting the tip on the ground and then switch it on; if it sounds off when you raise the tip above the ground then it probably will not work well in that particular ground.
There is no reason why the Pro Pointer cannot be used for pinpointing nuggets from at least 0.5gm and larger if the ground mineralisation permits
