    King George visits Pennsylvania

I have not been getting much hunting in lately as the weather has been so dry and the ground has been dry as a bone. We finally got a good soaking rain yesterday and today. I wanted to get out after work today but it was still drizzling when I got home from work. If finally stopped about 5:30 so I figured I would spend a few minutes in the back yard. The best my yard had given me was 2 wheats. I got a real solid hit on my 1350, it was steady 1 notch below a penny. I cut the plug and dug down about 5". I saw a disc in the hole and when I picked it up I thought clad half. I brushed the dirt off and saw the date 1918. I looked closer and saw the lady with the trident and knew what if was. How it got here I have no idea but I was more than happy to find it.
