I was at a park near some power lines and it started going crazy beeping on everything back and forth. I left there and now it turn on and lights up, but will not respond to any metal. Have I ruined it? What should I do? Thanks! I am really bummed to have no detector on a beautiful 70 degree day in January!

I called Garrett and they told me to hold down the power button for about 5 seconds until I heard a double beep. This reset the machine and it works like a charm! :hello2:
