bigger coil for 250?

I am thinking of getting the 9 X 12 for my Ace 250 to find some deeper silver coins. Does the bigger coil find deeper targets or just cover a bigger area than the stock coil?

It will do both........deeper targets and cover a large area faster. The coil also somehow manages to still be sensitive to tiny targets.

John nailed it. The larger coil only has one disadvantage and that is where there is a lot of trash.
